GayWest is run entirely by volunteers who give their time freely to ensure that the members have regular social events and receive their monthly magazine.

The Committee, which meets every month to deal with the general running of GayWest, consists of:

Membership Secretary	Magazine Editor	Fundraising Officer
Events Co-ordinator	Communication Officer	Information Officer
Rainbow Café Hosts	Rainbow Café Rota Co-ordinator

These positions are elected at our Annual General Meeting every year.

We also network with other community organisations to help provide a group which is supportive as well as social.

GayWest members are welcome to attend Committee Meetings to have their say. They can also get involved by becoming a Committee Member and taking up any of the challenging and rewarding positions available. It's not easy work, but you get the satisfaction of knowing you are helping YOUR community.
